Unable to boot device because it cannot be located on disk.

突然、iPhoneシミュレータが起動できなくなった。以下のアラートが出て、起動せずに終了してしまう。
エラーメッセージ
Unable to boot device because it cannot be located on disk.
Use the device manager in Xcode or the simctl command line tool to either delete the device properly or erase contents and settings.原因
Macの容量確保のために、以下のディレクトリを消してしまったため。
~/Library/Developer/CoreSimulator/Devices手順
下記コマンドを実行。
xcrun simctl erase all最後に
iPhoneシミュレータが起動しないという経験がなくてあせった。最初はググっても情報が少なくて、探すのが大変だった。前にPHPの現場で、ブログのタイトルをエラーメッセージにして、解消した方法を書くだけでも価値がある。というような話があった。聞いていて、なるほど！と思ったので、今回のタイトルにしてみた。同じエラーを引いた人の役に立てば嬉しい。
